Hi, I'm Kelsey!

Welcome to my blog! I am a young, pixie-haired woman who has been captured by the love of God! I am married to a wonderful man who loves me and loves God, and I enjoy writing, reading, drawing, and being with people. 

My Faith
I became a Christian when I was 18 years-old and was baptized in a kiddie pool before my church family, my parents, and God. My sister and I were both baptized that day and nothing has been the same since. I have experienced

difficulties I thought I'd never get past (some I still am working on), and felt joy I never thought I deserved. It has been an amazing journey, and it has only just begun! I cannot wait until the day I can join in with the saints in singing praises to my God evermore.

My Passion

I wanted to be a writer all my life (except for a brief stint during which I nearly became a card magician). I considered journalism, authoring children's books, and editing novels. When I became a Christian I decided to move to Boise and study children's ministry. I will most likely serve the Church for the rest of my days, though I'm not sure what to do with my degree yet! But I believe that children can teach us so much, and that they deserve our love. Just like any adult, children need to know they are infinitely loved by an infinite God. Married two years!

He says I never write about him in my blog, so now I am giving him his own spotlight! My husband and I married on June 1, 2013, and it was a beautiful, hectic, wonderful day. He is the funniest, sweetest man I know, and he has taught me so much. I love him dearly and am so overjoyed to spend the next hundred years with him.
